Caleb Challenge offers interactive workshops and small group coaching as ways to come alongside transitioning military members and their spouses* for the journey ahead. Through these relational vehicles we desire to both stimulate and personalize the planning and execution process for ‘whatever-God-has-for-you-next’.

Workshops

Career Transition Strategies is our flagship workshop experience. Two-day commuter or 3-day retreat formats engage participants in about 15-hours of interactive work, group discussions and personal exercises to help jump-start your military transition. You are guided through aproven, biblically grounded, ‘whole of life’ process by skilled workshop facilitators and transition coaches – all retired military leaders with over 200-years of combined leadership and life-coaching experience.

The beautiful conference center at White Sulphur Springs PA will once again host the Transition Strategies Workshop. This is a great venue for DC area and eastern seaboard military to escape the hectic pace and wait on the Lord for what he has next. Early bird discounts are available. *A note about spouse participation: We highly encourage couples to step into the transition process by attending our workshop together. However, this is not a “couples” workshop, and while there is group interaction the work and exercises are highly individualized to each person’s perspective of relationships, life experiences and future desires and expectations. To increase the value for both personal ‘hearing from God’-reflection and learning from others experiences we usually encourage spouses, after the opening session, to sit and participate with others at different table groups. If you have questions about couples attending together, feel free to contact us.

Coaching

Personal and group coaching can increase the follow-through success-rate of actions and intentions from the workshop experience by up to 80%.

Group coaching involves 4 to 6-alumni from any of the Transition Strategies workshops with two Caleb Challenge Transition Coaches via three consecutive monthly virtual-online sessions of about 90 minutes each. New coaching cadres begin generally within 30-60 days following each workshop event.

Future Events

We are currently scheduling workshop events for 2017. Please contact us directly if you have an interest in hosting or partnering with others to host a workshop in your area. We will conduct the workshop for as few as 12-paid participants. Not limited to these locations only, but we are very interested in engaging the military communities in the following areas in 2017.
